In an effort to increase public involvement in planning for the future of the decommissioned 130-acre University of Hawaiʻi Livestock Experiment Station at Waialeʻe, Oʻahu, North Shore Community Land Trust hosted the three-part Mālama Waialeʻe Community Visioning Workshop Series in May and June, 2019. We enlisted Townscape, Inc., a local environmental and community planning company, to facilitate this process. The results of this workshop series, including a community vision statement, shared values, planning considerations, and a description of the meetings themselves, can be found in the Mālama Waialeʻe Community Vision document.
